WINTER MEETING – January 27, 2007
AM: President Stanley Kruger, noted collector/author Andy Dohan and PCA, Inc. Vice President Ben Drabeck will provide a preview of the April 18-21, 2007 PCA, Inc. Convention to be held in Providence, RI. Later in the morning, there will be a surprise auction of about 40 weights from a New York collector. PM: Guest Artist Christine Stankard Kressley, who began working with her famous father in his Mantua, NJ studio in 1990, will discuss the evolution of The Stankard Studio. SPRING MEETING – April 14, 2007
Four marble makers, Beth Tomasello of Haddon Heights, NJ, Gateson Recko of Swedesboro, NJ, Paul Katherman of Mount Joy, PA and Shannon Norris of Conover, NC, will display product and engage in a panel discussion centering on how and why they chose marbles as their creative endeavor. Katherman> and Norris will also make formal presentations about their careers in glass.

April 18 - 21, 2007 PCA, Inc. Convention at the Warwick Crowne Plaza Hotel in Providence, RI
An exciting program is planned for this year's biennial PCA Convention, with emphasis on New England glass paperweights and makers from the 19th and 20th centuries. There will be a trip to the Sandwich Glass Museum, with a reception hosted by the New England Paperweight Collectors Association and a talk about Nicholas Lutz, all on the first day of Convention! NTBM!

SUMMER 2007 15th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WEEKEND – July 14 & 15, 2007
On Saturday, July 14, to celebrate the completion of 15 years of quarterly meetings, there will be four programs during the day, including master millefiori maker Drew Ebelhare speaking on "A 26 Year Retrospective", emerging young paperweight artist Joshua Steindler, "Acquired at Convention" show and tell and our annual "Stump the Dummies" ID Clinic, followed by the now-traditional Garden Party/Catered Cookout at the home of Vice President Andrew Scott and Nancy Kenna in Ambler, PA. On Sunday, July 15, DVPCA will travel to WheatonArts in Millville, NJ for the second full day of Glass Weekend 2007. Guest Dealers: Dan and Therese McNamara.

FALL MEETING – October 13, 2007
AM: Noted collector/author John D. Hawley will reprise his Convention program "19th Century Massachusetts Glass Factories and the Paperweights They Made". Later in the morning, judging will take place for the Best Finds Contests of 2006/2007. PM: Ed Kachurik of Ed Kachurik Glass Art will present a formal show of his work in glass and display product for sale. Guest Dealer: William Pitt.

WINTER MEETING – January 26, 2008
AM: President Stan Kruger and former Treasurer Andy Dohan will present a preview of Paperweight Fest 2008 at WheatonArts, May 14-17, 2008, an exciting four-day program, Wednesday through Saturday. PM: Lewis C. Wilson of Crystal Myths, Albuquerque, NM returns to display his latest creations and to discuss his development as a glass paperweight artist since his last appearance before DVPCA on January 21, 2006. May 14 - 17, 2008 – Paperweight Fest 2008 at WheatonArts, Millville, NJ
For the second time, 2006 was the first, DVPCA will co-host, with WheatonArts, this premier paperweight event, Wednesday through Saturday, beginning with Artists and Dealers Fairs on Wednesday evening and continuing with three full days of lectures, Lunch and Learn sessions with old and new paperweight makers, and demonstrations in the T.C. Wheaton Glass Studio, culminating in the sit-down banquet on Saturday evening.

SUMMER 2008 – July 12 & 13, 2008 – 16th Anniversary Celebration Weekend
On Saturday, July 12, 2008, to celebrate the completion of 16 years of quarterly meetings, mostly at Williamson's Restaurant, Horsham, PA, there will be four programs during the day. AM: President Stanley Kruger will deliver his PowerPoint production on "The American Flag in Glass Paperweights" after which there will be a brief show and tell program on "Acquired at Paperweight Fest 2008". PM: Kathy Moyer, former VP and Publications Director of PCA, Inc. will present "Paperweights ar Auction: Beauty and the Beast", to be followed by the annual "Stump the Dummies" ID Clinic. Later, at 4 PM, the group will caravan to the home of a loyal member for the summer Garden Party/Catered Cookout. Guest Dealer: TBD. Sunday's program TBD.

WINTER MEETING – January 21, 2006
Long-term DVPCA President Stan Kruger and former Treasurer and noted author Andy Dohan will present a Morning Program describing the origin and current status of Paperweight Fest 2006, at Wheaton Village, Millville, NJ, May 18-21, 2006, a first time collaboration between DVPCA and Wheaton Village to co-produce a paperweight event at the Village. After lunch, Lewis C. Wilson, of Crystal Myths, Inc., Albuquerque, New Mexico, will present a talk and videotape based on his thirty-three years of working in glass. SPRING, 2006 – April 29, 2006
Members will submit floral paperweights for "My Favorite Floral Paperweight", a popularity contest such as was conducted for "Your Favorite Patriotic Paperweight" in January 2003. The entire group will then vote for the most popular entries, with paperweight prizes to the top three winners. After lunch, Gateson Recko, of Universe Marbles, Swedesboro, New Jersey, will talk about his career in glass and express why he prefers marbles to paperweights. MAY 18 - 21, 2006 Paperweight Fest 2006 at Wheaton Village, Millville, NJ
Paperweight Fest 2006 will offer 4.5 days of formal and informal activities, general seminars, T.C. Wheaton Glass Studio demonstrations, Box Lunch and Learn sessions with The Calvacade of Contemporary Paperweight Artists in smaller groups, Wine and Cheese Reception and Exhibitors Fair on official opening day, May 18, live and silent auctions, choosing the winning entries in the GREAT Paperweight Raffle, etc., all focused on paperweights and paperweight techniques. On Saturday, February 2, 2002, at Williamson Restaurant, 500 Blair Mill Road, Horsham, PA, two traffic lights north of PA Turnpike Exit 27, DVPCA’s Winter Meeting will take place. Events will include the showing of a 30-minute videotape, Where the Earth Meets the Sky: The Glassworks of Josh Simpson, the Best Finds Contest of 2000/2001, and a slide presentation on “The Top Ten Milestones, People and Paperweights of the 20th Century” narrated by PCA Vice President, Archivist, Author and Editor Kathy M. Moyer.

SPRING MEETING – April 27, 2002

SUMMER, 2002 – July 13 & 14, 2002
On Saturday and Sunday, July 13 & 14, 2002, DVPCA will observe its 10th Anniversary Celebration Weekend, marking the completion of its first ten years of operation. The regular Summer Meeting on July 13, at Williamson Restaurant, will feature California glass artist Loren Stump, a modern master of stained glass, murrini and sculptural weights, narrating a slide presentation on his history and development as a glass artist. His appearance will be sponsored by Guest Dealer Nancy Alfano, of Portia Gallery, Chicago, IL. A Garden Party/Catered Cookout will follow the Summer Meeting at the home of loyal DVPCA members John and Dottie Shaddinger, Doylestown, PA. Plans are still uncertain for the Sunday activity during this Celebration Weekend.

In the Morning Program, loyal member Martin Mikelberg begins a four part series of talks on "You, Your Collection and eBay". After lunch, Guest Artist Drew Ebelhare, from Canon City, CO, will narrate a slide presentation on his recent design history, and how he makes his millefiori canes resemble flowers.

WINTER MEETING – January 24, 2004
For the Morning Program at 11 AM, Guest Dealer William Pitt, from Fairhaven, MA, will present a slide talk on the Pairpoint Glass Company, a 19th Century American glasshouse still in operation today. After lunch, at about 1:30 PM, DVPCA members/paperweight making brothers Dennis and David Breining will narrate their own history in glass. Both have taught Glass Art at Salem Community College in New Jersey; from 1999 to 2002 Dennis was Coordinator of the Glass Center at the College. DVPCA is proud to hear from its own member artists!

SPRING, 2004– April 17, 2004
Morning Program: Martin Mikelberg, CPA, continues with Part II of "You, Your Collection and eBay", discussing the tools, skills and terminology needed to use eBay effectively. Afternoon Program: Celebrated author, Editor and lecturer John D. Hawley returns to speak on �Paperweights That Tell A Story�. Many antique weights have fascinating histories attached to them; hear some in this talk.

Nancy Alfano of Portia Paperweights, Chicago, IL, returns to sponsor paperweight artist Ken Rosenfeld talking about his history and development as a glass artist. Nancy will also present a short Morning Program on a favorite collecting niche area. Martin Mikelberg continues with Part III of "You, Your Collection and eBay" discussing the ethical considerations of buyers and sellers on the auction site. On Sunday, 7/11, the group will visit a major glass collection in Center City Philadelphia.

Afternoon Program: South Jersey glass artist Beth Tomasello creates flameworked contemporary glass art marbles with vacuum-encased floral sculptures and murrini (picture canes) designs. She has studied with "The Master" Paul Joseph Stankard, and at Penland, Corning and the Glass Center at Salem Community College in South Jersey. She will speak about her history and development and her part of the ongoing South Jersey glass tradition.
